Description
Enter the fascinating world of bees with a visit to our honey and beekeeping museum.
Learn about bees and honey through text, poems, and pictures. Examine antique and modern tools our family has used to bring honey from our hives to the table. Watch bees in our observation hive, take apart an empty beehive, or try on a beekeeper’s suit.
Also available for viewing are apisculptures by Big Island Bees artist-owner, Garnett Puett, whose work in included in the Hirshorn Museum and Sculpture Garden in Washington D.C.
All our existing varietals are available to sample or purchase, together with other beeswax and honey products.
Distributed throughout Hawaii, all our honeys are raw and are known for their intense flavors and unique flavor profiles. Our careful attention to quality has led our honey to be featured in national publications such as The New York Times and Food and Wine.
