Getting Around Hawaii
Travelling within the Islands of Aloha is simple and affordable. Many visitors enjoy taking bus tours and it’s generally possible to get around by shuttle, taxi or local buses (you can purchase an unlimited pass on Oahu’s TheBus for just $25 and it will take you around the entire island).
You can also rent a car at Honolulu International Airport on Oahu or any other airport on the neighbouring islands (though we advise you to do it in advance because quantities can be limited). Hawaii’s inter-island airlines make travel between the islands easy as well. Connections to neighbouring islands are plentiful, with flights via Hawaiian Air, Island Air, go!, and Pacific Wings. There are also daily ferry services from Lahaina Harbor in Maui to both Manele Bay in Lanai and Kaunakakai Harbor in Molokai.
