In fact, Hawaii Island is often called the “Golf Capital of Hawaii,” because of the renowned tracks found along the Kohala Coast. Many of these resorts also front some of island’s best beaches, including Hapuna Beach adjacent to the Hapuna Beach Prince Hotel and Kaunaoa Beach near the Mauna Kea Beach Hotel.
