HILO, HAWAII'S BIG ISLAND
Find out what’s happening at the central hub of the Hilo art scene. The East Hawaii Cultural Center is operated by a coalition of art groups dedicated to preserving and sharing cultural, creative, and traditional arts on the island.
Browse the three galleries downstairs for innovative exhibits by local, national, and international artists. Shop for well-priced local art in the Main Gallery gift shop. Attend one of the performing arts events, in the upstairs theater space or outside on the steps. This historic building was once the old police station and courthouse of Hilo.
