“Kauai Made” Label to Launch in 2006
The County of Kauai, Office of Economic Development will launch a new “Kauai Made” label in early 2006. The program will support the marketing of goods produced on island. In order to carry the label, vendors must demonstrate that their products are either made on Kauai or made with Kaua‘i materials. Different from other island programs, the “Kauai Made” program will also allow retailers who sell qualifying products to join.
