2006 Hawaii's Walk for Diabetes
The American Diabetes Association is the nation's leading nonprofit health organization providing diabetes research, information and advocacy. The mission of the organization is to prevent and cure diabetes and to improve the lives of all people affected by diabetes.
America's Walk for Diabetes is held to raise awareness and money for diabetes research and educational programs for people affected by diabetes. This year, the Walk is being held on Saturday, March 18, 2006 at Kapiolani Park. The Walk starts at 8:00 a.m. Individuals and teams who have registered will come together to walk the 2.3 mile course and enjoy free entertainment.
