Summer Interns at The Kauai Visitors Bureau
Please extend a warm welcome to our two new summer interns Tammy Koerte and Charlene Paden. Tammy was born and raised on the island of Kauai and is a current student at Purdue University. Charlene Paden comes to intern with us from Kauai Community College. Hiring summer interns gives the Kauai Visitors Bureau a chance to give back to the community and mentor the future workforce on Kauai.
Visitor Industry Charity Walk
The annual Visitor Industry Charity Walk took place on Saturday, May 20th and was a huge success. The goal of the event was to raise $165,000 , which was not only met, but surpassed with an overall total of $181,000 raised - all of which will help charities here on the island of Kauai. The Kauai Visitors Bureau generously donated $1,000 of its private funds to further this great cause.
