A free family event featuring hands-on learning activities and quick tours of the museum. Join members of the Hawai‘i Watercolor Society as they demonstrate how to create a colorful coral reef using watercolor paints. Participants can also learn about the art of Oshibana, and make a card using dried flowers. Scheduled Jan. 10, art galleries open from 10 a.m.-4 p.m., with art activities scheduled from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Downtown @ the HiSAM and Shop @ the HiSAM the restaurant and gift shop located on the first floor of the museum, will be also be open.
