Description

The Kamanawa Foundation presents the 10th annual Kauai Polynesian Festival on Memorial Day weekend May 26-29, 2011 at the Vidinha Stadium soccer field on Kapule Highway (Lihue). The Kauai Polynesian Festival kicks off at 5 p.m. on May 26 with a “Polynesian Evening of Stars” including Polynesian protocol ceremonies, music, and “U Tink U Get Talent” contest. Join us on May 27-29 from 11:30 a.m. through the evening each day for Tahitian, Maori, Samoan and Hawaiian entertainment, “Polynesian Experience” (hands-on arts and crafts activity), Polynesian Farmer’s Market, solo and group dance competitions, Hawaiian games, food booths, workshops, water slides, and much more. All Kauai residents and visitors are welcome. Entrance fee is $35 for four days or $10 per day. Children below the age of 5 are free.
