Description

From the tee at the first hole, the front nine of The Experience at Koele seems to dance across grass-filled mountain meadows that dominate the landscape. And while it's perched in the lush, green highlands of Lanai away from the ocean, it's The Experience's stunning water features that create an enchanting golf experience.

The seventh hole features a picture-perfect par-3 guarded by water. The short par-4 at No. 8 -- the highest handicap hole -- sits in the middle of its own lake. No. 9 is a great par-5 driving hole and features a green protected by a tiered waterfall.

Then, The Experience's undulating hills come into play. The back nine rises to 2,000 feet -- with steep, forested slopes and elevation changes to match. Spectacular views north across Kalohi Channel to Molokai and east across Auau Channel to Maui are on display after a 150-foot-high cart path climb to the No. 10 tee box.
