Description
We are conveniently located 15 miles from Hilo, 25 miles from Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, and 20 miles from live lava. Local attractions include waterfalls, botanical gardens, zoo, hiking trails, volcanically heated hot pond, Lava Tree State Park, and snorkeling, swimming and surfing at black sand beaches. The grounds are tropically landscaped with native trees and ferns, wild orchids as well as those we have placed in trees, bamboo, tropical flowers, and numerous fruit and spice trees including banana, lychee, citrus, guava, cinnamon, allspice, and nutmeg. Our swimming pool is inlaid with mosaics and includes a waterfall you can sit behind. Each of our three rooms has a private bath, satellite TV with DVD player, free WiFi, ceiling fan, large towels, robes, shampoo, lotion, bubble bath, hair dryer, clock radio, reading lamps, and access to the hot tub. Breakfast includes home grown fruit, homemade granola, ham, eggs from our chickens, breads, juice, tea, and locally grown coffee.
