Bougainvillea Bed & Breakfast is a very unique place where you will find guests treated like family with 'Nites and Breakfasts to Remember'! Located half-way between Kona and Hilo in the historic Ka'u district of the Big Island in an area called Ocean View. Plantation style home three blocks off highway 11. View of South Point. Hosts Martie & Don Nitsche are very knowledgable of Hawaii and are happy to share secrets of the island. Located on 3 acres, with no neighbors, it is very quiet & peaceful. Guests will find restaurants, post office, gas station, gift shop, etc. There are 4 rooms romantically decorated, each with private bath & entrance. Pavillion area boasts a pool, hot tub, ping pong, horseshoe pit, satellite TV, BBQ, microwave, games, exercise equipment. Awesome stargazing. The great room offers books, games, puzzles, & a fantastic video library for free movie viewing in the bedrooms. Unique landscaping & 3 pineapple patches. Eco-friendly and have broadband available.
