Overlooking the distant sea, Hale O Nanakai invites you to relax on the spacious deck to watch the sun rise, or enjoy the spacious lanai and unwind under the stars after a day’s sightseeing or hiking.
Hale O Nanakai is close to major sight-seeing areas: Allerton Garden, Waimea Canyon, Hanapepe Art Night, Mahaulepu Beach, Spouting Horn, the Kauai Coffee Visitors Center and more. Restaurants, shops, and stores are also nearby.

"I lovingly and personally created Hale O Nanakai for guests seeking an alternative to commercialized visitor destinations," says Sheila, a resident of Hawaii since 1986. "Because of my study of Hawaiian culture, native botany and archaeology, and my passion for outdoor activities, I am here to offer unique tips on aspects of Kauai that most visitors never get to experience."
