Description
Volcano Art Center (VAC) is known for preserving, presenting, and sharing Hawaii's rich culture and traditions through art exhibits, hula performances, traditional Hawaiian craft demonstrations, music and dance concerts, custom group programs, classes and workshops, readings, lectures, and more. VAC Gallery, housed in the historic 1877 Volcano House in Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, is open 9-5 daily and showcases Hawaii's best fine art and artists. Educational programs in the visual, literary, performing, and cultural arts are available to children and adults year-round. VAC's Niaulani Campus, nestled in a majestic old-growth rain forest in Volcano Village, is open 8:30-5 M-F. Niaulani provides an inspirational setting for artists plus a self-guided nature walk and environmental education programs.
