Guided by original course designer Jack Nicklaus, the Kiele Moana (Ocean) Nine re-opens to play on May 23, 2011, following an extensive renovation including new putting surfaces and bunkers and three new holes. One new hole is a dramatic ocean hole, now the centerpiece of the longest stretch of continuous ocean holes in Hawaii providing an unprecedented 1/2 mile of stunning oceanfront golf. The Kiele Mauka (original Kiele front 9) Nine will pair with the Kiele Moana Nine to create a fabulous 18-holes of Jack Nicklaus inspired Kiele golf at Kauai Lagoons.
The Kiele Waikahe Nine (former Mokihana holes) is also available for play and is well suited to those desiring a 9-hole round, beginners, juniors and walkers.
