The Wailea Gold is among Hawaii’s most recognized courses, the recipient of dozens of awards and the former host site of televised tournaments featuring such legendary professionals as Arnold Palmer, Jack Nicklaus and Gary Player.

Designed by Robert Trent Jones II, the Gold is notable for its rugged feel, centuries-old lava rock walls, and panoramic ocean vistas from every hole. Known as a “thinking player’s course,” the Gold demands players to choose their clubs and shots with care. At the same time, four to six tee boxes on every hole makes it an enjoyable experience for golfers of all abilities.

The Wailea Gold has received honors for its course design, historic preservation efforts and overall golf experience. With no homes or building lining the fairways, the Gold is an excellent opportunity to enjoy ‘pure golf’ on magical Maui.
