Kahului Airport (OGG) is the island's main airport. There are two smaller airports on Maui as well: Kapalua Airport (JHM) on the Kaanapali side services the major hotels and resorts, while Hana Airport (HNM) gets travelers to this isolated area. Many airlines fly direct to Maui while others include Oahu as a stopover. There is also ferry service to and from Lanai and Molokai.
You can get around Maui by shuttle, tour bus, taxi, or public transportation. But to really experience all that Maui has to offer you should consider renting a car.
