This colorful celebration honors the reign of King Kamehameha, who was responsible for uniting the Hawaiian Islands under his rule in 1795.
The Parade starts at 9am at King and Richards Streets in downtown Honolulu and the Hoolaulea at the Kakaako Makai Gateway Park from 10am- 3pm. Enjoy both the parade and hoolaulea with lots of parking in the Kakaako area. Come early before 8am as the streets will be closed for the parade to past through and reopened.
