A series of 3 men's & 3 women's pro surfing events that run from November 12 through December 20 each winter:
Reef Hawaiian Pro/Cholo's Women's Pro - Haleiwa, November 12-23
O'Neill World Cup of Surfing/Gidget Pro (women) - Sunset Beach, November 24-December 6
Billabong Pipeline Masters/Billabong Pro Maui (women) - Pipeline/Honolua Bay Maui, December 8-20
This is the world's premier series of professional surfing events for men and women, featuring over 100 of the best surfers from 14 nations.
With $1,000,000 in prize money, the Vans Triple Crown determines the world champions of surfing each winter on Oahu's North Shore.
Staged at three unique locations, the Triple Crown is the ultimate test of a surfer, requiring that they master the big waves and the challenges of each venue to succeed.
Staged in waves of up to 30 feet, the Vans Triple Crown is a global spectacle broadcast live on the internet and in Hawaii on Oceanic digital cable channels 250 & 1250.
When waves get too big for the Triple Crown, the focus shifts to Waimea Bay and the Quiksilver In Memory of Eddie Aikau.
