SUNSET ON THE BEACH, OAHU

Cinephiles meet surfers at Sunset on the Beach. On special weekends at Waikiki's Queen Surf Beach, the City & County of Honolulu presents a free movie on a 30-foot screen, right on the sand. Come early, lay out your towel, and listen to the live music and performances starting two hours before the show.

Grab a bite at one of the food booths, walk out to the cement pier, and watch the vibrant colors of sunset fade before turning your attention to the big screen as the movie begins. Dig your toes in the sand as you laugh and thrill to classic movies and recent releases. In fact, the world-premiere of "LOST" was screened right here on Waikiki beach. Check to see when the next Sunset on the Beach is for an unforgettable night on Oahu.
