| 16TH ANNUAL HONOLULU FESTIVAL, Oahu March 12, 2010 - March 14, 2010 The 16th Annual Honolulu Festival is a three-day celebration, highlighting the people and diversity of the Pacific and Asia through an impressive showcase of the arts and culture. More than 5,000 participants and visitors from Japan and other Pacific Rim countries will come to Honolulu specifically to take part in the Festival, giving a boost to Hawaii's tourism economy.
The Festival will be open to the public on March 13 and 14 at various locations including the Hawaii Convention Center, Ala Moana Center and Waikiki Beach Walk. It will conclude with a spectacular Grand Parade through Waikiki along Kalakaua Avenue on Sunday, March 14. The Honolulu Festival is Hawaii's premier cultural event, promoting understanding, economic cooperation and ethnic harmony between the people of Hawaii and the Asia-Pacific region. Each year, the Festival draws thousands of new and returning spectators who are looking for an experience beyond Hawaii. Through educational programs and activities sponsored by the Honolulu Festival Foundation, a nonprofit organization, the Festival continues to successfully share the rich and vibrant blend of Asian and Hawaiian cultures with the rest of the world. 
| CELEBRATION OF THE ARTS, Maui April 02, 2010 - April 04, 2010 This three-day festival held at The Ritz-Carlton, Kapalua celebrates the rich heritage and culture of native Hawaiians from the past, through present and into the future. It's a unique opportunity to experience the authenticity of "Hawaiian heart and soul" through seminars, art, music and special shows. 
| THE MERRIE MONARCH FESTIVAL, Hawaii's Big Island April 04, 2010 - April 10, 2010 The week-long festivities begin with a Ho'olaulea (music festival) at the Afook Chinen Civic Auditorium on April 4, 2010 and continues all week with free noon-day entertainment at the Hilo Hawaiian Hotel and Naniloa Volcanoes Resort. On Wednesday, there is a free exhibition night at the Edith Kanaka'ole Tennis Stadium that begins at 6:30 p.m. Thursday is the solo Miss Aloha Hula Competition, Friday and Saturday are the group Kahiko (Ancient) and 'Auana (Modern) hula competitions. The arts and crafts fair is held from Wednesday through Saturday at the Afook Chinen Civic Auditorium. The big Merrie Monarch Royal Parade winds through downtown Hilo at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday. Except for the hula competition, the events are free. 
| NA HOKU O HAWAII MUSIC FESTIVAL, Oahu May 27, 2010 - May 30, 2010 The 1st Annual Na Hoku o Hawaii Music Festival is the ultimate three-day celebration of Hawaiian music and culture. Watch live performances from some of Hawaii’s most popular and legendary artists including Henry Kapono, Amy Hanaialii, John Cruz, Jake Shimabukuro, Cyril Pahinui and more. The festival also features hula performances, workshops, speakers and exhibitors at venues in the Hawaii Convention Center, Waikiki and throughout Honolulu.
