Kumano I Ke Ala - Malama ʻĀina Community Workdays - Second Saturday of every month

Kumano I Ke Alaʻs monthly community workdays bring together members of our community and visiting guests to malama ʻāina (care for the land) at our educational farm in Waimea, Kauai. Visiting tourists and residents will engage in hands-on enrichment experiences centered around traditional Hawaiian practices of mahiʻai kalo or kalo farming which includes planting, harvesting, pouding kalo (taro) and more. If youʻre planning a visit to Kauaʻi or are on island, join us every 2nd Saturday in Waimea!
