Description

The John B. Kelley Haleiwa Metric Century Ride begins and ends in Kaiaka Bay Beach Park on the Northshore of Oahu. Ride at your own pace, all skill levels and ages are welcome. The road is mostly flat with a few moderate hills. This is a ride, not a race, and all roads remain open. Please ride with aloha. There is a new course this year! The course will leave Kaiaka Bay Beach Park, and head towards Kaena Point on Farrington Highway. The first turn around will be near Camp Erdman past Dillingham Airfield. The 30km riders will return directly to the park, with the 50km, 80km, and 100km riders continuing along the North Shore past Sunset Beach, Kahuku and turn around at Hau’ula Beach Park, and return to Kaiaka Bay Beach Park. There are aid stations approximately every 10-12 miles. These aid stations also serve as turn around locations. Camp Erdman will serve as 30km turn around and first aid station. Sunset Beach Neighborhood Park is the 50km turn around and second aid station. Kahuku High School is the 80km turn around and third aid station, and Swanzy Beach Park is the 100km turn around and fourth aid station.
