It’s a classic homegrown celebration. Grab your beach chair or blanket and meet us on the Great Lawn! Family and friends are invited to the 17th annual Windward Hoolaulea on Saturday, October 7, 2017 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on the Windward Community College campus in Kaneohe. Windward Hoolaulea is the Windward Oahu’s signature event, drawing up to 15,000 people islandwide. The free, family-friendly festival will feature the sounds of Kapena, Hookena, Jerry Santos and Kamuela Kimokeo, EMKE, and other top island entertainment, hula by Chinky Mahoe’s Merrie Monarch award-winning halau, Imaginarium shows, Gallery ‘Iolani art exhibit, unique arts and crafts booths, ‘ono food, keiki rides and activities, art exhibits, a college-sponsored silent auction, and educational and community displays.
