Anapuka Dune Restoration Workday - Mokio Preserve, Molokai

A day trip to the Anapuka Dune Restoration Site on Mokio Preserve features rugged coastlines, seasonal seabird nesting sites, ancient Hawaiian sites, unique ecosystems and amazing photo opportunities. Mokio Preserve is made of up 1700 acres on the NorthWest coastline of Molokai. This is an off-roading adventure and we will be traveling through gated and locked areas of West Molokai that few have access to. Transportation provided in our fully loaded brand new 4X4 van which can accommodate 15 passengers. Hike through the 60 acres of restored lands and learn of our conservation efforts propagating Native Hawaiian plants, removing invasive species and reintroducing Native Hawaiian plants back into their natural habitats.
