Hanohano O Kona (honoring Kona) Lecture

On Wednesday, May 25, Kona Historical Society is honored to present, for the Hanohano O Kona Lecture Series, a "pop-up exhibit," historic slideshow, and discussion of paniolo life in Kona, Hawaii. Don't miss this preview of KHS' first rotating exhibit to be shown in its upcoming gallery, the Kona Museum. The 2016 community cultural and historical lecture series, spotlighting local and state speakers, is held at the West Hawaii Civic Center the last Wednesday of each month from 5:30 pm-7:00 pm. Presented by Kona Historical Society, in cooperation with Hawai'i County, this free, public series is a gift from the Society to the community. This lecture is supported by the State of Hawaii, Grant in Aid Program, and West Hawaii Today, and sponsored by M.E. "Meg" Greenwell.
