The 17th annual Hawaii Book & Music Festival, partnership with the University of Hawaii at Manoa, remains virtual in 2022. With the theme "Hawaii 2.0 -- Model for the Planet?" this indispensable community forum will present 60-70 events including 25 Hawaii authors and panels spotlighting 10 national VIP interviews, including best-selling literary legends Paul Theroux and John Irving. Themed programs include Hawaiian Culture, Sustainability, Wellness, and Innovation are planning to include a special Children's Day. As always, the nonprofit festival is a free-admission event.
