The Kehea Program- Harbor Greeting Program on the Kailua Pier in Kailua Kona is highlighted only for the arriving cruise ships days throughout the year. Destination Kona Coast a non-profit organization has twenty three years experience with greeting cruise ship visitors. The program begins at 8:00am and concludes at 2:00pm on cruise ship day arrivals. Hawaiian music is played from 8:00am to 11:00 am. A hula soloist performs during the Hawaiian music program. Enjoy this three hour Hawaiian cultural program while visiting our Historic Kailua Village. The volunteer greetings host a Visitor Information booth throughout the day with landmark cultural site brochures, maps, and receive information on land, ocean, air activities, shopping, dining. and museum tours. Enjoy a cup of 100% Kona Coffee at the Aloha Pier Greeting Booth. There are weekly arrivals from the Pride of America each Wednesday and guest ships arriving during the months of January, February, March, April, May, September, October, November, and December.
