Obon Dance & Festival - Kaneohe Higashi Hongwanji Mission

Experience this island celebration of the Obon Festival, brought to Hawaii by Japanese immigrants that have evolved into a social and cultural event. The Obon honors ancestors that have passed on with dances and festivals across the island that are held throughout the summer.

6:30 to 10 p.m. July 2, 45-520 Keaahala Road; food booths open 5:30 p.m. and service begins 6 p.m.
