Ohana Volunteer Days at Waimea Valley

We want you and your family to Join us at Waimea for our 'Ohana Volunteer Day

These volunteer opportunities will be open to participants of all ages and are geared towards families with younger kids as an opportunity for them to get involved, give back and learn.

The volunteer projects will generally be located in the botanical gardens and cultural sites and will focus on things like weeding, cleaning, site maintenance and invasive species removal. 

RSVP are required to attend the event.

Gloves and tools will be provided along with a project that is suitable to the group.

The basic schedule for one of these volunteer days will be:

9:00am Volunteers Arrive, sign waivers, and prepare for the day

9:15am Volunteer group will participate in cultural protocol and have a brief overview9:30am Begin volunteer Project

11:30am Volunteer project is finished, volunteers are encouraged to enjoy a lunch after the work and then explore the valley.

**All participants Earn free entry into the valley for the day and may enjoy optional tours and activities available that day.
