Resort Areas on Oʻahu
The famous Waikīkī neighborhood is where you’ll find the majority of the island’s accommodations, as well as the most variety, including high-rise hotels with priceless views, family-friendly resorts with lots of activities and hip boutique hotels that offer a more intimate ambiance. Beyond Waikīkī, there is one luxury resort in east Honolulu (The Kāhala Hotel & Resort), one on the North Shore (Turtle Bay Resort) and two on the Leeward Coast in the Kō Olina Resort area (Four Seasons Oʻahu and Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa). With an unforgettable tropical setting and so many activities and attractions near each resort area, Oʻahu’s resorts make your dream getaway a reality.Getting There
Waikīkī accommodations are located approximately nine miles, or 30 minutes east, of Honolulu International Airport, with the Kāhala area about 10 more minutes east beyond Lēʻahi (Lēʻahi Head).
