Resort Areas on Oʻahu
The famous Waikīkī neighborhood is where you’ll find the majority of the island’s accommodations, as well as the most variety, including high-rise hotels with priceless views, family-friendly resorts with lots of activities and hip boutique hotels that offer a more intimate ambiance. Beyond Waikīkī, there is one luxury resort in east Honolulu (The Kāhala Hotel & Resort), one on the North Shore (Turtle Bay Resort) and two on the Leeward Coast in the Kō Olina Resort area (Four Seasons Oʻahu and Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa). With an unforgettable tropical setting and so many activities and attractions near each resort area, Oʻahu’s resorts make your dream getaway a reality.Getting There
Waikīkī accommodations are located approximately nine miles, or 30 minutes east, of Honolulu International Airport, with the Kāhala area about 10 more minutes east beyond Lēʻahi (Lēʻahi Head). Kō Olina accommodations are located approximately 22 miles, or 35 minutes west, of the airport. North Shore accommodations are located approximately 37 miles, or 55 minutes north, of the airport.Resorts on Oʻahu
