Lūʻau of Oʻahu
Welcoming honored guests is another reason to hold a lūʻau, and visitors are welcomed to lūʻau across Oʻahu every week. There are many excellent lūʻau to choose from, including the Aliʻi Lūʻau at the Polynesian Cultural Center on the North Shore, the Paradise Cove Lūʻau at Kō Olina in Leeward Oʻahu and the Royal Hawaiian Lūʻau (Ahaʻaina) at The Royal Hawaiian Hotel. You might also consider Germaine's Lūʻau at Kalaeloa, Ka Moana Lūʻau in Sea Life Park, Diamond Head Farm to Table Lūʻau in the Waikīkī Aquarium, Waikīkī Starlight Hawaiian Lūʻau and Ka Wa‘a Lūʻau at Disney’s Aulani Resort.
You’ll dine on kālua pig cooked in an imu (earth oven), haupia (coconut pudding) and poi (Hawaiian taro starch), among many other delightful dishes. Then you can settle in under the stars, listen to live music and watch skilled hula performances that tell stories of the islands.
