Our mission at Hoʻomau Oʻahu Tours is to cultivate, educate, and perpetuate ʻāina-based Hawaiian culture. We aim to connect visitors with the authentic spirit of the Hawaiian people and our sacred ʻāina in an impactful yet respectful way.
We offer a variety of tours that highlight different aspects of Oʻahu's rich history, culture and natural beauty. Our Circle Island Tours provide an overview of the entire island, with stops at historical and culturally significant sites. Our Historical Downtown Tours explore the history and sites of Honolulu from the Kingdom Era to present day.
However, our most impactful experiences are our Mālama Experiences. These intimate tours take visitors into loʻi and loko iʻa with cultural practitioners who perpetuate traditional Hawaiian ways of life. You will learn directly from practitioners who share their knowledge and help malama ʻāina. A portion of revenues from these tours goes back to the cultural practitioners to help ensure their traditions continue for generations.
