The King Kamehameha Golf Club, Maui

Perched on the slopes of Mauna Kahalawai with dramatic panoramic views of Maui’s south shore and Haleakala, the King Kamehameha Golf Course offers a beautiful and challenging 18-hole layout that tests your shot making ability. The par-72 course originally designed by Ted Robinson Sr., and refreshed by Ted Robinson Jr., stretches more than 7,000 yards from the tips with rolling fairways well protected by bunkers and water features, and undulating, tiered greens making club selection a priority.

The 559-yard par-5 finishing hole, which winds it way back to the “organic” architecturally designed 74,000-square-foot Frank Lloyd Wright clubhouse, sums up the golf experience at King Kamehameha Golf Course. Requiring a slight left to right tee shot, the second and third shots require accuracy to avoid the water hazard and waterfall that fronts the green. Par is a great finishing score here.

The King Kamehameha Golf Course is Maui’s only private facility, however, offers a “Member for a Day” option for non-members to enjoy the course.
