Hawaii Geo Tours

We are two Geologists that founded Hawaii Geo Tours to give guests a more comprehensive understanding of the islands of Hawaii. Our tour begins at a coffee plantation and then onto the famous Punalu'u black sand beach. We offer a list of lunch options, that no other tour company offers, at the Lava Rock Cafe in Volcano Village. We spend the afternoon, longer than any other tour company, in Volcanoes National Park to view not only Kilauea Caldera, but several other historical lava flows down the famous Chain of Craters Road. We finish the tour driving through the historic town of Hilo and over Saddle Road with a once in a lifetime opportunity to view the new lava flows from Mauna Loa in over 38 years!
