DISCOVERY: In three historic buildings guests can see and feel the dramatic changes the New England Missionaries brought to Hawaii starting in 1820. Visitors discover how a small group of New England missionaries – who came to the islands in 1820 – worked with the Native Hawaiians to introduce Christianity, to develop a written language, public education, western medicine and representative government. Tours at 11:00 a.m., 12:00 p.m., 1:00 p.m., 2:00 p.m., and last tour at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday – Saturday. General Admission $10, Seniors, Military, Kama‘aina $8, Students (6-college) $6.
