일 년 내내 퍼레이드, 길거리 파티, 음식과 공예 장터, 콘서트, 가족이 함께하는 액티비티까지 체험하며 하와이의 다양한 문화의 면면을 만끽할 수 있습니다.

연례행사

하와이의 유명 행사는 대부분 매년 열립니다. ‘호놀룰루 마라톤’(12월)과 ‘하와이 국제 영화제’(10월) 같은 행사는 세계 각국에서 온 방문객들이 참여합니다. 한편 마우이의 ‘프린스 랏 훌라 페스티벌’(7월) 또는 카우아이의 ‘에오 에 에마라니 이 알라카이 페스티벌’(10월) 및 하와이 전역에서 열리는 ‘킹 카메하메하 셀러브레이션’(6월)은 주로 현지인들이 참여하는 행사입니다. 진정한 하와이 문화를 경험해보고 싶은 여행자에게 아주 매력적인 행사이죠.

음식 축제

현지 음식과 농작물을 선보이는 축제로 현지인들은 물론 여행자로 붐빕니다. 하와이 아일랜드, 마우이 및 오아후에서 열리는 ‘하와이 푸드 & 와인 페스티벌’(10월)과 마우이의 ‘카팔루아 와인 & 푸드 페스티벌’(6월)은 오랜 명맥을 이어가는 음식 축제로, 세계 정상급 셰프와 와인 제조업자 및 마스터 소믈리에를 초빙하며 와인과 음식을 사랑하는 수천 명이 찾아옵니다. 하와이 아일랜드의 연례행사인 ‘코나 커피 문화 페스티벌’(11월)은 하나부터 열까지 커피를 기념하는데 10일이 넘는 기간 동안 약 50가지의 행사를 진행합니다. ‘카우아이 초콜릿 & 커피 페스티벌’(10월)은 카우아이의 카카오와 커피 산업을 조명합니다.
