Parasailing in Hawaiʻi

See what the birds see when you soar above the crystal-clear waters of Hawaiʻi’s beaches with a parasail. At heights of up to 1,000 feet in the air, parasailing offers unprecedented views of the coastline, and it’s an unforgettable way to enjoy a day at the beach. Ride solo or tandem with friends or family. It’s a great activity for older kids and adults alike. There are a variety of parasailing companies on the Hawaiian Islands, and the sport is even offered at some beachfront hotels.

Oʻahu

See Lēʻahi (Lēʻahi Head) and the Honolulu skyline from the air. Companies such as Hawaiʻi Water Sports Center provide parasailing just minutes from Waikīkī Beach. Located at Koko Marina, this aquatic center also features jet skiing, scuba diving, wakeboarding and water skiing. If you want to try a unique variation on parasailing, head to H20 Sports Hawaiʻi for a water-propelled jet pack experience.

Maui

Maui is a popular destination for parasailing enthusiasts. From May through December, there are a number of great beaches for parasailing including Hoʻokipa Beach Park. UFO Parasail has been bringing fun ocean activities to Maui and the Island of Hawaiʻi since 1985. They use state-of-the-art winch boats to float you on and off for safe, dry landings.

If you like water sports with easy access, the Best Western Pioneer Inn, located on Lāhainā Harbor, provides a variety of activities for its guests. In addition to parasailing, they offer scuba diving, snorkeling, fishing, yacht- and submarine cruises, plus easy beach access for sunbathing – all just minutes from your room.

Vacation Packages

Parasailing is also available through all-inclusive vacation packages on many of the islands. Aloha Hawaiian Vacations services Oʻahu, Maui, Kauaʻi and the Island of Hawaiʻi, and can help you book a parasailing tour and a wide variety of other outdoor adventures.
