Hilo Aloha
Hilo Aloha 2026 is a week-long cultural gathering held April 6–11, 2026 at the historic Hilo Palace Theater, created to celebrate the rich culture, creativity, and community of Hawaiʻi Island.
Co-produced by Actions of Aloha and Lālākea Foundation in partnership with other Hawaiʻi-based organizations, Hilo Aloha brings together local practitioners, educators, artists, and small businesses to share ʻike, strengthen relationships, and foster meaningful community connection.
Taking place during Merrie Monarch week, Hilo Aloha offers an additional space for gathering, complementing the festival with accessible, community-centered programming rooted in cultural practice and contemporary expression.
Merrie Mākeke Sip & Shop
A curated marketplace featuring local fashion, crafts, and Hawaiʻi-based products, offering guests the opportunity to support small businesses while discovering meaningful, locally made goods.
Creative Workshops
