Waimea Cherry Blossom Heritage Festival

As part of the Waimea Cherry Blossom Heritage Festival, Kahilu Theatre will be open throughout the day, welcoming visitors to experience art and performance in a beautiful cultural setting.

From 9:00 am–3:00 pm, Kahilu Exhibits will feature Storied Ground, a juried art exhibition showcasing works inspired by place, memory, and connection to land.

At 2:00 pm, audiences are invited to enjoy Sakura Beauty and Spirit, a special performance directed by Annu Shionoya that celebrates the grace, symbolism, and cultural meaning of cherry blossoms through movement and expression.

Festival-goers are encouraged to stop by, explore the exhibition, and take in the performance as part of their Waimea Cherry Blossom Heritage Festival experience.
