Every Friday, visitors and residents are invited to enjoy live Hawaiian music, hula, local artists, and hands-on cultural workshops led by respected cultural practitioners and Hāna Arts haumana.

Learn traditional Hawaiian arts such as lei making, ulana niu (coconut weaving), lauhala weaving, ti leaf crafts, and lau kāpala stamping while hearing stories about Hawaiian history, language, native plants, and the cultural traditions that make Hāna unique. Browse fresh produce, locally made food, handcrafted gifts, and artwork from East Maui farmers and artisans as mellow Hawaiian mele fills the market.

Throughout the afternoon, spontaneous hula performances and community celebrations bring the market to life, creating an authentic experience where culture is shared naturally through music, conversation, and aloha.
