43rd Pan-Pacific Festival
The 43rd Annual Pan-Pacific Festival is a vibrant multicultural celebration showcasing an exciting array of performances and activities across three unforgettable days. Featuring participants and entertainers from Japan, Hawaiʻi, and around the world, the festival offers a rich cultural experience for both residents and visitors alike.
A wide variety of family-friendly events are free and open to the public, creating an inclusive atmosphere that brings the community together while highlighting the diversity of Pacific Rim cultures.
The festival kicks off on Friday, June 12, 2026, with the lively Pan-Pacific Hoʻolauleʻa, a multicultural block party in the heart of Waikīkī. Guests can enjoy live entertainment, a diverse selection of global and local cuisine, unique handcrafted goods from cultural artisans, and more.
Throughout the weekend, the Performing Arts Showcase will take place at multiple venues, featuring traditional and contemporary performances from various cultures. This is a rare opportunity to experience authentic costumes, cultural music, and storytelling that celebrate heritage and tradition.
Also spanning all three days is the highly anticipated Pan-Pacific Hula Festival, where hālau (hula groups) from Hawaiʻi and Japan come together to honor the art of hula and perpetuate Hawaiian culture.
The celebration culminates on Sunday, June 14, 2026, with the grand finale Pan-Pacific Parade along Kalākaua Avenue. The parade brings together vibrant dancers, powerful drummers, marching bands, and cultural groups from across the globe in a spectacular display of unity and cultural pride.
