While some North Shore beaches can be challenging even for advanced surfers, the calmer waters of Haleʻiwa Beach are preferred for swimmers and beginning surfers. An adjacent park and picnic tables also make it a great location for a barbecue. Be sure to try the local favorite, “shave ice,” from nearby Haleʻiwa Town.
