Polynesian Adventure Tours, LLC (Poly Ad) was established on Oahu by Bob George and Don Brown in 1977. The company began with the innovative idea that utilized drivers as both narrators and guides. Poly Ad’s Maui operation opened in 1987, and shortly after the business was expanded to the Big Island and Kauai. Norwegian Cruise Line acquired Poly Ad in 2004 in order to service its shore excursion requirements throughout its port calls state-wide.
