Hale Ohu Bed & Breakfast

Hale ‘Ohu Bed & Breakfast is owned and operated by twin sisters, Nicole and Gabrielle, who have created a unique and magical B&B experience in Volcano Village. This boutique, adults-only property is set on five-acres with botanical gardens and a tropical rainforest that guests are encouraged to explore.

Our three rooms are modern with all the conveniences and comforts travelers expect. Each room has a private entrance, spa-inspired bathroom, Breakfast Nook with mini-fridge, coffee maker and microwave; patio with garden views and a SMART-TV with Netflix access.

Rate includes a generous and healthy in-room continental breakfast, daily housekeeping, high-speed Wi-Fi and parking.

Hale 'Ohu (ha-lay oh-who) means the House in the Mist. We are situated at a 4,000-foot elevation and enjoy cooler weather even on days with clear blue skies. In the afternoon, mist often rolls in from the slopes of Mauna Loa.

We are a legally permitted B&B by the County of Hawai'i.
