Événements et festivals annuels d’Hawaï

Les îles festives d’Aloha

Tout au long de l’année, profitez également de défilés, de fêtes de rue, de foires artisanales et alimentaires, de concerts et d’activités familiales célébrant les multiples facettes de la richesse culturelle d’Hawaï.
 

Événements annuels

Beaucoup des fêtes les plus mémorables d’Hawaï reviennent tous les ans. On vient des quatre coins du monde pour assister ou participer à certains événements comme l’Honolulu Marathon (en décembre) et l’Hawaii International Film Festival (en octobre). D’autres, comme la Prince Lot Hula Competition d’Oahu (en juillet), l’Eo E Emalani I Alakai Festival (en octobre) sur Kauai ou la King Kamehameha Celebration (célébrée en juin à travers tout l’État), sont des fêtes principalement locales. Ces événements sont l’occasion rêvée de découvrir l’Hawaï authentique pendant le séjour.
 

Festivals gastronomiques

Les événements qui mettent à l’honneur les produits du terroir attirent à la fois les habitants et les touristes. L’Hawaii Food and Wine Festival sur Maui, Oahu et l’île d’Hawaï (en octobre) et le Kapalua Wine & Food Festival (en juin) sur Maui sont des rendez-vous culinaires récurrents qui attirent les grands chefs, les producteurs de vin et les maîtres-sommeliers, pour le plus grand plaisir des amateurs de vin et de gastronomie. ​L’Annual Kona Coffee Cultural Festival de l’île d’Hawaï (en novembre) célèbre le café sous toutes ses formes et accueille près de 50 événements sur 10 jours. Quant au Kauai Chocolate & Coffee Festival (en octobre), il met à l’honneur le chocolat et les torréfactions de Kauai.
