Eo E Emalani

The 36th annual Emalani Festival takes place Saturday, November 2, 2024 in Kokee, Kauai from 9:00am to 4:00pm. Tents with lei making, exhibits, and food surround the performance and seating area for the audience. Hawaiian music begins at 9:00am. Central to the Festival is the arrival of Queen Emma, her attendant, and guide Kaluahi on horseback at 10:00pm. Protocol ceremonies will pay homage to the Queen and perform for her throughout the day. The queen, in turn, will offer a dance of her own. Sponsors and Guests are invited to witness a historical event, authentic Hawaiian protocol and genuine Hawaiian cuisine.
