Where: North Kona, Aliʻi Drive, heart of Historic Kailua Village - Island of Hawaiʻi

Across the pier from Kamakahonu Bay, a small corner of sand sits at the end of the seawall and leads into Kailua Bay. Protected by the pier, it is a good, albeit small, swimming beach. This location is also the start of the swimming course for the IRONMAN Triathlon.
