Fathers Day Regatta

Race / Club Background: The Father's Day Regatta, proudly sponsored by Leeward Kai Canoe Club, is a cherished annual event celebrating the bond between fathers and their families through the exhilarating sport of outrigger canoe racing. The Leeward Kai Canoe Club has a rich history deeply intertwined with the culture and traditions of Hawaiian paddling. Founded in 1967, the club emerged as a beacon of community spirit and athleticism on the shores of Nanakuli, O`ahu. Initially established with a small group of passionate paddlers, Leeward Kai quickly grew into a respected institution within the local paddling community.
